Reason: To safeguard the amenities of occupiers of neighbouring properties and to comply with Policies DM20 and DM40 of the Brighton and Hove City Plan Part Two.

The development hereby permitted shall not be first occupied until an Operational Noise Management Plan is submitted to and approved in writing by the Local

 

 

 

 

Planning Authority. The Plan shall include details of occupancy numbers, booking protocol and procedures, music, plant, noise mitigation measures to control noise associated with comings and goings, and other general measures and mitigations to ensure that the amenity of the neighbouring occupiers or workers is not compromised. 

 

Any mitigation measures included within the agreed Plan shall be implemented within the development prior to first use of the development and the operation shall be carried out in strict accordance with the agreed details within the Plan and ma

 

Reason: To safeguard the amenities of nearby residents and occupiers of the building, the wider locality and to comply with policies DM20 and DM40 of the Brighton and Hove City Plan.

June 2026 - Several further representations received from objector. Concerns raised include noise and vibration and omissions in submission regarding noise and vibration testing.  

 

No new issues raised; the committee report covers these concerns and conditions are proposed relating to the provision of a Scheme for Noise and Vibration Management, controls on amplified music, and an Operational and Noise Management Plan.
